Tokunbo is a highly versatile Investment and Commercial Law Legal Practitioner with over 34 years experience in the legal industry. He cut his teeth as an Advocate in Messrs Jide Bankole Oki & Co a reputable medium sized Law Firm established by a one time Attorney General of Lagos State. He joined the Firm in September 1985 and worked in various roles in the Firm for about 10 years rising to the position of Head of Chambers before leaving to join Prudential Group Limited as Company Secretary Legal Adviser. where he worked for over 12 years.

As Company Secretary/Legal Adviser he was responsible for provision of Company Secretarial and Legal Advisory services to the Companies within the Group structure which included companies engaged in Financial, Insurance,  Consultancy, Information Technology and Import and Export trade services. He resigned from the Group to practice law by setting up One Pact Legal Associates where for the last 15 years he has been actively involved in representing a diverse Clientele list of Companies engaged in the Banking, Financial Services, Insurance and Real Estate sectors of the Nigerain economy.

Tokunbo has acquired varied cognate experience in litigation and has appeared in complex contentious matters before all the superior courts of record in Nigeria. Tokunbo is also an accomplished transactional lawyer having been involved in various merger processes particularly during the consolidation exercise in the Insurance Industry in 2005-2007.

Tokunbo studied Law at the Obafemi Awolowo University and was called to the Nigerian Bar in August 2004. He is a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Institute of Capital Market Registrars and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria. 1n 2010 he participated and passed the Specia Members Course of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators UK, though yet to be formally inducted as a Member.

Tokunbo is also a Certified Corporate Governance Audit and Board Evaluation professional having been certified by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.
